First Giveaway - Chocolates for your Valentine

It's celebration time!

Penny Pinscher is already starting to gather a larger subscriber base! To say thanks to all of you for visiting, we are joining up with Shannon's huge Bloggy Giveaways Carnival and running our first giveaway. The prize? Since Valentine's is coming up, I thought you all might enjoy a large box of Cello's Chocolate Cherries to give to your sweetheart. If you've never had these, they are the very best chocolate cherries, in my opinion. I usually won't touch a chocolate covered cherry normally, but I'll eat a box of these by myself. They are awesome!

So save me from myself and win these chocolates! All you have to do is leave a comment below telling me what your favorite Penny Pinscher post is, what you'd like to see more of, or just say "Hi!" Link to us from your blog, if you like, and then come back here and share your link below.

I'm thinking of a unique way to pick the winner, which I will be posting here as a movie clip. The winner will be picked on my favorite day of the year - Groundhog Day! (You understand if you've ever seen the movie;)

So, let the commenting begin!

I love your post of "It's a Frugalicious Friday!" I miss the bread stores in the area we moved from. There's none here. All are at least 1 hour away.

Thanks for the giveaway!

Stop by my place to win a bath set & candles or one of two copies of a book I'm giving away. Don't miss the daily edition of contests galore that I post on my blog.

I liked the post on "Good to the last drop." I had no idea that an empty can would harbour that much oil. I also loved the look of the planter the empty can created for you thyme. I would love to be entered in your drawing.

The only problem with chocolates and Groundhog's Day movie is that I'd keep on going back to the box of chocolates forgetting but not really forgetting that I'd been there before. Bill Murray would be proud of me!?!

I like your "Good to the Last Drop" post, because it means my family are not the only people to re-use olive oil tins (for years we used one to prop up our Christmas tree in, among other things).

My favorite post is "Freecycle Furniture Fills The Bills Without The Bills". I use freecycle in my area and find it to be a great asset. I've given things away and received some nice items also.

I love chocolate covered cherries.

I think my favorite post is the "Good to the Last Drop" post. I haven't ever bought olive oil in cans, so haven't run into the problem there, but I hate it the few times when I have soda in cans, or juice boxes, or something similar, and there's that last bit of liquid in them that quite simply won't come out of the openings the containers came with.

I'm wishing now that I could buy olive oil in cans, because it really is a very cute planter.

I like your "Good to the last drop" post. However, your "ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......................" speaks to me more than any other so far. Why? Well, it's 3am, I've not been to sleep, the dishwasher still needs to run (just got finished loading it), the dog still needs to be fed and let out to wee and I'll be up in 3 hours to help hubbydear get ready for work. After years of wondering, I think I finally understand the phrase "burning the candle at both ends".

I'm one who strives to be a P31 woman, as well. It's interesting to see different ladies'take on what they need to do to achieve that ideal. I'm still figuring out what it means to me.

If you don't mind, I'm going to bookmark your blog and come back tomorrow during breakfast (about 3 hours after I wake) and comment on you P31 post.

(And, of course, lest I forget what brought me here... enter me in your giveaway, please? Thank you!)

OK, first I followed some other bloggers advice on enter their give-a-way since I am not a blogger myself. I put my name into the #11 auto-link spot but left the url blank. If you are allowing non-bloggers to be entered into this.

(sigh, now that I explained why I might be crashing into your blog without a fully proper invite)

But you are offering my hubby's favorite chocolate covered cherrys. He does not care who's they are but loves trying different brands to find which he likes the best. Dark chocolate covered by hmmm is it Anne or Queen Anne's..what ever..
Please accept my not so humble enrty into your wonderful..great...and thoughtful give-a-way.

Thank you

Ok, I will ask. Did I make you laugh? Is it worth one chocolate covered cherry?
My advise is check with your bank to re-finance your mortgage. Or consolidate your high-interest credit cards into a low home equity loan.
